A Nepali murder convict has been repatriated from Saudi Arabia, eighteen years after the wrongdoing occurred.
The convict Narayan Adhikari, who has been utilizing pseudo name as Narayan Bahadur and Jiwan Bahadur, was on the pursued the Kaski District Court sentenced him in the murder of Shiva Raj Thapa Suyal, an occupant of Kaski locale's Siddha VDC-7, on October 1, 1998.
Focal Investigation Bureau of Nepal police composed with Interpol to bring back Adhikari from Saudi Arabia.
As indicated by police, the murder occurred after Adhikari's better half had griped that Thapa grabbed her while she was gathering feed.
Adhikari, a previous Nepal Army work force situated in Singhanath legion, Jhapa, on the morning of November 1 met with Thapa and wounded him to death taking after an intense quarrel.
Adhikari, who was later kept in detainment by Nepal Army, fled the guardianship on March 10, 2000. He then changed his name to Jiwan Bahadur Adhikari and gained another citizenship from District Administration Office, Kaski and connected for identification from the fake name. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for remote work on May 25, 2013.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sher Bahadur Basnet of CIB said a red corner notice was issued against Adhikari on June 6 a year ago and was captured by Saudi Police.
Adhikari was introduced under the steady gaze of Kathmandu District Court on Sunday and has been sent to Central Jail, Sundhara.
