BREAKING NEWS: Plane carrying Brazilian football team crashes in Colombia

The plane, en route to Medellin from Bolivia, was carrying 72 passengers and nine crew members when it went down in Cerro Gordo on Tuesday.  Members of Brazilian football team Chapecoense, who were scheduled to play a Copa Sudamerica finals match against Atlético Nacional on Wednesday, were on board. Media reports identified three football players among the survivors, but the news could not be confirmed.

Five have survived the plane crash in Colombia, local police have said. The other 76 passengers are thought to be dead.
