Mithila Love story

Sharma got married at the age of 51 around 3 years ago. She turned her 33 years of friendship into love and finally tied the knot with Motilal Bohora who was 68 years then. She was shocked when he got the marriage proposal and took 2 months to finally decide the knot. Sharma is known for Mukundo:Mask of Desire, Karma and Undone by Love. Moti Lal Bohora was the chief of Nepal Police from 1993-1997. It was during his tenure as chief that the “People’s War” in Nepal began. He is the last known officer to have remained IGP for a full term.

Goma Crash at Nepal

A senior pilot and co-pilot were killed and a crew member injured when a cargo flight of Goma Air crashed as it was trying to land at Lukla Airport on Saturday noon.

Co-pilot Shreejan Manandhar, who was undergoing treatment at Pasang Lhamu-Nicole Niquille Hospital in Lukla, was declared dead at 9:30 on Saturday night, the Hospital sources confirmed.

Injured flight attendant Pragya Manandhar has been airlifted to Grande International Hospital in Kathmandu this morning via Manang Air helicopter.

Captain Paras Rai was already pronounced dead at the hospital yesterday.

The dead bodies of the pilots have also been airlifted to Kathmandu this morning.

The bodies could not be brought to Kathmandu on Saturday as a chopper sent to rescue them could not land in Lukla due to bad weather.

On duty air traffic controller Ujjwal Tiwari said the plane’s nose hit a mound of earth near the runway as it was preparing to land at 2:05pm. “The plane with call sign 9N-AKY slammed into the mound, fell 100 metres and broke into three pieces,” he said.

Lukla Goma Air Crash

A pilot died and two crew members were injured after a cargo plane of Goma Airlines crashed while landing at the Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla near Mount Qomolangma on Saturday afternoon, authorities confirmed.Lukla, located at an elevation of 2,800 meters, is the gateway to the world’s highest peak Mount Qomolangma located in the eastern district Solukhumbu.

“The aircraft crashed just a few meters away from the runway at 1:56 p.m. (local time),” Yogendra Kunwar, chief of the Lukla airport, confirmed to Xinhua over phone.Following the crash, the rescue operation was carried out immediately by the team of the Nepal Army, police, a rescue team of Goma Airlines and the locals.

Dev Kumar Kathayat, a Nepal Army official who joined the rescue operation, told Xinhua: “The aircraft crashed just in front of my eyes after it entered into the clouds near the runway. We rescued all of the three crew members within an hour of the incident.”critical condition.Though it has been speculated that the crash occurred owing to bad weather, the exact cause is yet to be identified.

Since the spring climbing expedition falls in April and May, the Lukla airport has been receiving up to 105 flights in a single day.Around 40 expedition teams comprising 371 climbers from various countries have taken the permit to scale the world’s highest peak this season.
