The very easy, simple and quick method to make a very delicious vegetarian item
First heat oil adding pan and let it heat. Once oil is heat add cumin seeds and fry it till it is dark brown in colour. Then add onions and stir it. Now add chopped ginger and garlic and fry it mixing well unless onions are golden brown in colour. Then, add chopped tomatoes and green chillies and mix it well. Now, add some salt just to help cooking tomatoes and onions. Cook it putting lid till tomatoes get soft.
As tomatoes are soft add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt and combine them well. The thing to remember here is add salt little only as we have already added earlier to cook onions and tomatoes. Let it cook for about 20-30 seconds.
Then, add little water as mushroom releases a lot of water. After that add green peas and mushroom and stir it very well. Now, cover it with lid and let it cook for 7- 8 minutes and here is your mushroom matar ready to be served you even an add coriander leaves to garnish.
